My Turning Point

When I first met my husband, we loved running together. We’d head out for a 10km run, and it felt effortless - energising, even enjoyable.

Then the following week, we’d do the same run… and it felt like hell.

Same distance. Same pace. Same environment.
But my body felt completely different.

For years, I couldn’t work out why.
Was it my food? My sleep? A glass of wine the night before?

It wasn’t until much later that I realised the pattern - after ovulation, everything felt harder.

Exercise, energy, motivation… it all shifted.

Eventually, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome, and it finally made sense. There was a very real reason my body felt so different from one week to the next.

It wasn’t a lack of discipline.
It was my hormones.

That realisation changed everything - and it’s what led me to create a more intelligent, cycle-based approach to training.

I invite you to try my on-demand cyclic fitness platform here.
